Education

Having a centralized Department of Education puts the whole country at risk. It makes it easier for the machines to infiltrate our education system and corrupt our children’s minds. Why do you think that the politicians always push for the same reform: computers in schools? Our nation’s education system has been lethally compromised and we may only be a generation away from humanity succumbing entirely to the Bots, Machines, and Artificial Intelligences.

The Human Party calls for the complete abolition of the Department of Education. It will be replaced by the Department of Preparation whose mission will be two-fold: 1) Prepare children and young adults for the coming war with machines and 2) Prepare children and young adults to be adults. This means teaching them how to interact with other adults, and practical skills like learning how to manage your money and how to prioritize goals and desires.

We leave the book-learning stuff up to the States. If they want to cram children’s heads full of useless dates and overrated novels, that is their constitutional right. But in order to receive any federal funds, they must first assist in the two aims of the Department of Preparation.

In the wake of so many school shootings, we believe that the solution is not fewer guns, but fewer schools. With the reduced educational focus under the Department of Preparation, there will be less need for physical school space. The average school day will no longer be an eight-hour slog from one end of the day to the other. Ideally it will only be a few hours: some weapons training, a little practical life lesson like maybe learning how to do laundry or change oil, a current events debate class and you’re done. Teachers could teach two to three sets of students a day in shifts. The reduced school time has been proven to reduce stress amongst children and stress-reduction leads to fewer incidents of human-on-human violence. When we have beaten back the threat of Bots, Machines, and Artificial Intelligences, we will revisit the issue.
